So... according the reviewer Mad Max he was saying that this vacuum sucks... or the lack of suction! I've owned several Vacuums two are the Eureka which both of them reported to have the same suction power as the dyson Dc41 which in my opinion didn't really have the power that the dyson vacuum claimed it would be. I like Eureka and this Airspeed Unlimited is in a class of its own. I've recently had a chance to try the DC41 vacuum that my wife's friend owns (about 4months old) and This Eureka Airspeed unlimited has MORE SUCTION POWER! So to MAD MAX... you must have A. not installed the vacuum correctly or B. got a dud. Before I was borrowing my friends hoover vacuum which is not the exact same model as Mad Max had tried but its the same power and class as the Hoover Vacuum. Comparing the results from the Eureka its really Amazing! The Carpet is almost New again. So I did the hall way which has the most traffic.On an empty container on the Hoover Vacuum it got what I first thought a lot of soil. then I compared it to the Eureka immediately after vacuuming.... More Soil! Lots of Sand and fine particles came up from the carpet that the Hoover did not have!. On the main living room I did A side by side comparison Slowly going forward and back on the Hoover and slowly going forward and back on the eureka Side by side you can notice a difference. The carpet is brighter, fluffier and going over on the same carpet path with the Eureka just cleans up the carpet so well. I love it!
So If you order this vacuum I would make sure that the parts are installed. I checked the filters to make sure they are seated correctly... also take a look at where the rubber grommets meet the bagless container they should be flush. if not you will loose suction and I believe that may be the case of Mad Max.

No height adjustment. VERY hard to push on carpet. LED lights very cool. Vacuum recommendation at end of review.
This vacuum is SO close to being perfect for the price. The swivel is so handy, the lights are very nice, the hose is flexible and long, and it has great suction. BUT, there is no height adjustment, it's supposed to be automatic. My 6 and 4 year old daughters were all excited and wanted to try it out, only to find out it takes a adult to push the vacuum. I thought there was a setting off wack, but no, there is no setting to change. It's pretty difficult to push compared to the average vacuum on the market. It advertises the height adjuster " seamlessly adapts to all floors throughout your home". That is not the case, and our carpet isn't even that thick. Update: Eureka replied to my review, saying that if this is difficult to push, adjust the suction control valve to accommodate. Why not design with a height adjuster if that is the case? I feel they missed the mark with this one, though it was so close.......... I loved all the other features. 2nd Update: My review was the first one this vacuum had, when the price was $109.00. Now I see it's $89.00. I really wish this vacuum would have worked for me, but I like my little girls to help with the vacuuming. :) I upped my rating to three stars, as I think this vacuum would work great for someone with firm carpet, especially for $89! I have had very good luck with other Eureka vacuums, and I returned this one and replaced it with another Eureka I'm very happy with. (just wish it had the lights... :)) Here is my recommendation.
